Our 737-900ER on our way from Seattle to Atlanta. We spent most of the flight at 41000 ft.
St Louis. Can you see the Arch?

I love Seattle more than I love most things.

One of the newer Delta jets? Love the pic of the tippy top of Rainier - cloud deck at 13,500.

I can see the shadow of the arch, and I also see Gateway Motorsports Park.

Seattle to St. Louis is hands down my favorite flight.

Flew a 738-900 SFO to AUS last night. The FAs were young and chipper and unjaded. The flight was very light so the internet bandwidth was adequate. And I was on a buddy pass so the round trip fare is about $110. Flying can be fun sometimes. Not often, but once in a while.

Ha! I’ve been to Stl twice in the last six months. On one of the trips I had enough time to visit the arch. It’s mind bending from ground level.

My most recent chariot out that way.

Do you ever get tired of soaring through the sky at nearly the speed of sound several miles high? not to be poetic but I just think about how crazy people are to complain about flying...wondering if the pilots get jaded too.

Yeti airlines has a mountain viewing flight out of Kathmandu- at 21,000 feet, you’re still looking up at the mountains. They even let you come forward to the cockpit to see their view! But the best part is getting to say that I flew on Yeti Airlines

That looks fantastic

I don't get tired. Our pilots seemed to enjoy it as well.

Hasn’t happened yet. The time I flew overseas on an A380 I was positively giddy. I was on the lower deck aft of the wing so I got the full show of flight control surfaces. It just never gets old. The actual flying is the best part of a business trip. It might have something to do with my ~30 odd hours in the left seat of a Cessna 152 when I was a teenager. Gosh how I miss it. If I have a chance at a second career, aerospace is it.
